Welcome to the Benelux Patent Platform
The Benelux Patent Platform is a large-scale project implemented for the Benelux countries (Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxemburg) in the field of patents. It constitutes a set of IT applications and infrastructure for supporting the establishment, processing and tracking of each of the key patent elements throughout all the stages of the patent life-cycle.
You can benefit from the BPP online services: eRegister and MyPage.

Important Notice : Online Filing update:
A security incident has been identified in the Belgian eFiling web application. Thanks to the rapid detection of the incident, the affected systems were immediately secured. However a limited amount of user account data and a potentially limited selection of patent data have been exposed.
An initial analysis indicates that primarily the Belgian (BE) Patent office is affected; there is currently no evidence that the Dutch (NL) or Luxembourgish (LU) Patent offices are affected, though investigations are still ongoing.
As a precautionary measure the Online Filing platforms for BE, LU, NL have been taken offline until the analyses are complete and security can be guaranteed. This analysis is ongoing and will be on going all the next week. We will inform you when Online Filing is available again.
While the platform is offline and in case of urgent submissions, please contact the Luxembourgish Office for Intellectual Property by email : bpp@eco.etat.lu or BPP-Helpdesk@eco.etat.lu
As a precautionary measure, we ask you to remain vigilant regarding any suspicious emails, text messages etc. that may be phishing attempts impersonating the Patent Office.
If you receive a suspicious message or notice any unusual activity on your account:
- Do not click on any links or open any attachments
- and immediately report any suspicious communication or unusual activity on your account
